With support from the American Art Program, the Noguchi Museum has launched the online Isamu Noguchi Archive and updated The Isamu Noguchi Catalogue Raisonné. These two resources make over 60,000 works and archival materials accessible to the public.
Visitors to the online Archive can explore photographs of Isamu Noguchi’s artworks, exhibitions, and studios, in addition to personal travel photos, correspondence, and architectural drawings. The Isamu Noguchi Catalogue Raisonné is geared toward audiences interested in Noguchi’s artistic practice and contains an ever-growing, comprehensive record of information on the artist’s work, with cross-linked objects and exhibitions, bibliographic references, current research, and editorial features.

The Isamu Noguchi Foundation and Garden Museum today announced the digital launch of the Isamu Noguchi Archive and an update of The Isamu Noguchi Catalogue Raisonné. Together, these major initiatives significantly expand the Museum’s newly redesigned web presence, while making a vast trove of resources on the art and life of Isamu Noguchi accessible to the public.

Making this rich cache of materials widely accessible, just days from the artist’s 115th birthday, goes a very long way toward achieving that. The Museum is deeply grateful to the Henry Luce Foundation, which generously supported this undertaking with a crucial grant. This leadership support joins an extraordinary gift from Tsuneko and the late Shoji Sadao to establish and sustain the Catalogue Raisonné.”
