Description

This grant will provide bridge support for the Digital Archive for Indigenous Language Persistence (DAILP) project previously supported by the Foundation. DAILP is creating an expanded reading and intuitive GUI writing environment to provide an archiving space suitable for the collective translation of Cherokee language manuscripts to advance indigenous language learning, translation, and documentation that could be expanded more broadly for other language preservation efforts. This will help support the project through an anticipated award from NEH to advance the project.
