Erica Crowley, MSW is a Program Officer supporting the Women in STEM and Luce Scholars Programs. Previously, she served as Senior Director of Academic Programs at Trinity College’s Center for Hartford Engagement & Research, where she led community-engaged initiatives in public humanities, community-based research, and ethical partnership development. In this role, she built collaborations among community organizations, faculty, staff, and students to advance projects of community concern.
Earlier in her career, Erica led grassroots campaigns as an Organizer with ReproEquityNow, served as a commissioner on Hartford’s Permanent Commission on the Status of Women, and mentored emerging professionals at SXSW EDU. Before joining the foundation in 2025, she was selected as a Bold Movers Fellow by Vital Voices Global Partnership and Stuart Weitzman, a program supporting women changemakers at mid-career. She holds a Master of Social Work in macro practice and community organizing and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Connecticut.
